Patrick T. Gartland joins the firm nearly a century after his Great Grandfather, planning to continue the legacy of aggressive, ethical, and cost effective legal advice in the Hudson Valley area.
Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was an Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP and a Partner at Luskin, Stern & Eisler, LLP and Hughes Hubbard & Reed, LLP in New York City. While there, Patrick advised major international banks, other financial intuitions and borrowers on asset based commodity, and other financings. He also has extensive experience advising clients in connection with out-of-court work outs and restructurings of project finance and other debt, as well as advising both creditors and debtors with respect to debtor-in-possession financings and bankruptcy matters.
As a graduate from the University of Scranton in 1996 and receiving his Juris Doctorate from The University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1999, Patrick brings extensive experience to counsel local businesses, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, colleges, and hospitals throughout New York State.
