Mr. Van De Water brings 8 years experience of active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps and 3 years in the U.S. Army Reserves. While serving, Mr. Van De Water worked as both trial defense counsel and prosecutor, honing/cultivating/polishing his courtroom advocacy skills along with an understanding of criminal law acquired from both side of the aisle. Mr. Van De Water’s practice areas include commercial litigation, estate planning, military criminal and administrative matters, and civil litigation.

As a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Albany Law School of Union University, and the U.S. Army JAG Officer Basic Course, Mr. Van De Water’s extensive expertise and robust background will provide new depth to the established heritage of local legal counsel since 1876.
