Kyle C. Van De Water concentrates his practice on commercial litigation and military law.
Kyle practices commercial litigation for business disputes, including breaches of contract cases, lien claims, and other commercial transactions. He uses pre-litigation strategies to decide when and how to try cases, while keeping clients’ business objectives in sight.
Kyle represents clients facing various forms of disciplinary actions, including courts- martial trials, non-judicial punishment (Article 15s), administrative actions, and honor board proceedings; often being able to resolve these cases outside of the courtroom. Kyle has experience working as both a trial defense counsel and prosecutor. He was able to hone, cultivate, and polish his courtroom advocacy skills and develop an understanding of criminal law acquired from both sides of the aisle.
Kyle is a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps and is a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
