Jon H. Adams concentrates his practice in land use law, zoning law and environmental law.
Jon represents large commercial and residential developers, as well as individuals, in matters before municipalities regarding zoning and land use. Jon advises and assists clients in gaining approval in both state and federal courts, as well as appearing in local land use hearings, Board of Appeals and appellate courts.
Jon has significant experience in environmental law, ensuring business transactions and land use comply with state and federal environmental law. Jon navigates his clients through the regulatory and transactional processes involved in the purchase and sale and/or development of commercial and industrial space and any subsequent litigation that may arise.
Jon was counsel to the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, as well as appointed Town Attorney for Wappinger and Pine Plains.
